Guidelines:
Fairies and Fairytales Magazine as the name implies publishes short stories which involve fairies, kami, or a related being in some way.

Stories
All stories should be 2000 to 4000 words in length. We pay $40 dollars in advance to the authors we choose, or about 1-2 cents per word.

Poetry
We Pay $10 per Poem

We prefure stories which focus on interesting characters, believing that good character and character interection tends to trump other aspects of a story. We are especially interested in the development of fairies as characters with actual motivations which follow older traditions and are more likely to continously hire writers who provide these. To learn more see our discussion on Fairies and their Motivations.

Even if we've paid you in advance we will not publish:
Horror stories, stories which could be considered overtly sexual or violent. Please see our contract below for more details on this.

Do Not Submit a Completed Story or Story Idea
